Derek and the Froginos was everything  Eric Frogton had

hoped it would be! His solos were on fire and he was writing the best songs of his career! A few decades later, one of Eric's most epic songs about his muse simply titled "Layla", would even be featured in many films and shows. The mobster film "Frogfellas" even used "Layla" in the pivotal scene where all the mobsters get "whacked" and Froggie Carbone is found hanging from a hook inside the meat truck. The royalties from Layla alone made Eric a very rich frog.
